노화방지제(antioxidant)
노화방지제는 산화방지제와 같은 작용을 하는 것이 많기 때문에 산화방지제라고도 한다.
노화방지제는 산소나 오존 등 고무와 반응하여
사슬을 절단하거나 가교로 인하여 고무의 망상구조를
변화시키는 연쇄반응을 정지시키는 역할을 한다.
가장 많이 사용하는 종류로는 방향족아민, 페솔 및
아인산염(phosphite)등이 있는데 이중 아민류는 고무의 변색을 야기할 수 있는 종류이다.
물리적 기능은 고무표면으로 블루밍하여 노화를 야기시키는 물질이 공격을 하지 못하도록 보호막을
만드는 것이다.
알칸(alkane), 이소알칸 및 환상의 지방록 탄화수소의 혼합물인 확스를 가장 널리 사용하고 있다. |
